Does the game support joystick use?

You want multiple camera views? First person (no ship visible) Over the top (2D view) - would this actually be usable? Side cut-away view The 2D views might look cool, they'd probably make more sense in a level that's custom made to be played in 2D mode. You might even need a ship mod that locks the ship to a specific X value so that it could sit in the center and easily pick up collectables. What did I miss? ...
