Can't finish the atlas path

I lost one atlas stone skiping an atlas station that was crashing the game every time i tried to interact with it. After that in my last atlas station i was only with 9 atlas stone, and couldn't finish the atlas path.

I tried to buy a atlas stone in the system station with no luck, so I done a few jumps and eventually I could get another one and headed back to my previous systems just to realize the atlas interface don't stay fixed in the system.

I thought, no problem, when i found the next anomaly I will ask for the atlas path, but when i found an anomaly I discovered that there is not an atlas option anymore.

so, is there any way to finish the atlas path now? Or is it a design bug?

Im having a similiar problem, they really need to make a new waypoint option to include search previous systems.... ALL ATLAS INTERFACES ARE GONE.

X can make you scroll (without precision) to previous systems. I gone for all my previous 10 sytems, one by one, and can say for sure Atlas stations are events, they don't stay in the system after you left they behind. I also crossed one system I'm almost sure had a black hole, not so sure about it but I think black holes are also events, not fixed locations. If you ask me, it's a pretty lazy design.

As I understand, the game set my atlas path event as done, in other words, when I entered the last atlas station and discovered I had not all the stones and left the station the game just assumed that i rejected the atlas and now there's no way to do anything about it.
faulty code, a basic level programming mistake to just assume previous iterations was done flawless and not putting a safe checker.

I guess we just have to move on and forget abount half of the game content... =/

Its a serious bug, and should have been caught in testing. So many people, myself including in this bug.

As a big fan of the game, I'm sad to say I too am caught up in the same bug. I have 9 atlas stones, unable to find the 10th, as the atlas path has gone from the options list. Rather frustrating it is.

You can find Atlas Interface systems in free roam mode in the galaxy map. You just need patience to find them. A lot of patience. A ♥♥♥♥ ton of patience. I had to find 7 this way due to borked waypoints after I took a black hole (to the knee).

I visited all my previous systems, including all the 10 previous atlas stations systems, they aren't there, it's safe to assume the design here is that the game spawns it for you until you visit the last atlas station, at this point there will be no more atlas station spawns to be found. I'm tired to look for those things and even if they have a chance to magicaly spawn again, it is bad design. Totally broke the experience for me. I will give it another shot after more 10 updates or so.

I am really wondering if the developer is aware of this bug and if it will get fixed soon. I lost alot of my motivation to play No Man's Sky after I found out that I cannot finish my Atlas Path. Hopefully one of the next patches will fix it. *sigh*

i have a similar problem i got all 10 atles stones created my new star got all the way to the center of the galaxy but i cant make the last jump to the core I got all FTL upgrades and pulse engine upgrades and full fuel but no matter what system i go to i cant make it I get the same message (distance to far upgrade drive) the funny thing is that the system info card will say 700ly from center but when you go to jump to the center the distance changes to 6000ly

your gonna have to cheat it... first go to a station, then run up the stairs over and over till you die. then after repsawning, DONT COLLECT YOUR GRAVE.

Press ESC and "reload current save" and then after the loading screen is done collect your grave, it will dupelicate EVERYTHING in your inventory, so clear some space. you should get the last needed atlas stone and be able to sell the left overs.

Fill your entire ships fuel and then you can do it.

i have all fuel filled right down to my take off thrusters....edit-so just made it to center the way i was able to do it was disconect my pc from the net lol dont know why that worked but it did

Back to the cheating the stones. Is there confirmation that works and will I find another ATLAS interface again?

My option on Priest Nada is gone for ATLAS.

Is Hello Games fixing this?

UPDATE: It doesn't work now, and I still can't get back on the ATLAS path. I have 10 stones (bought 2) and no interface. I have a ticket open.

I made the mistake of taking a black hole and now the Atlas Path waypoints on the galaxy map go nowhere. I've done 30 warps and no anomaly found. So I have no way to "reset" the Atlas Path or get black holes to spawn.
