Windows Driver Foundation causing CPU load and LAG *SOLVED*
Ok, I've been having lots of problems with lag 20-26 FPS since i've been able to play (after phenom II patch).
I have been changing setting and toubleshooting for days.. Today when i was in the Task Manager (to set priority to High which helped) I noticed "Windows Driver Foundation" at 40% CPU load. Normally it is at 1-2%. I forced closed the app WUDFHost.exe and my CPU load for the game went to 60% and when i returned to game 50-56 FPS!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!

This was also after i turned my settings up where they should be :)

I am posting to maybe help anyone else that may have the same program loading. Maybe if the devs are watching they can figure out why the game is loading and using that program. The discription for the program says it is for USB drivers so i figured it wouldn't effect game but it loads with game so it has to be closed after loading game.

WUDFHost.exe is MS's Windows Driver Foundation User-mode driver framework host process, ie it's a container for user-mode drivers provided by hardware manufacturers. So if that process is eating up memory or CPU cycles, it's the driver contained by that process that's causing the issue.
Make sure your drivers are up-to-date, including mouse or other USB device drivers.

I looked into drivers and found my G-series mouse needed a 117mb driver update. I thought it told me when there was an update guess not.
Thanx i updated the thread solved.
