"Upgrade Modules" pop-up.
Is anyone else having this issue? I'm having this constant pop up about "Upgrading modules improve a specific technology you have already installed" every other minute or so.

I have already installed a dozen upgrade modules and it's never enough, it doesnt tell you what it wants you to upgrade so thats convenient.

After the latest patch from today I no longer get those popups.

I had that for hours yesterday, there was a Scanner Module C that looks exactly like a microprocessor (icon) in my inventory. I didn't have a free slot to install it on on the multitool, later I did find a new tool, install it and it went away.

I read other threads that the upgrade causing the popup can be in any inventory . So if you are on a planet ,that upgrade that is in a ships inventory on your freighter, it can trigger the popup.

Lol, this bug hits me where it hurts: I had been stock piling S-class ship upgrades as I find them, saving for that elusive 35 slot explorer ship. That popup is so annoying though....I will prob have to sacrifice those upgrades if this doesn't get patched soon.

this may have been patched (per one comment) but I noticed it seemed to be linked to the new "pin" mechanism. You get some new "shiney" and it wants to show you how to use it - so it "pins" it. If you pull up your menu screen (where you can see missions) lower section (as I recall) had an item on "installing module". I "unpinned" it and it went away. (Although it may have been my bad impression of "Smeagal's: "go away and never come back" that scared it <LOL>

It triggers if you have a module in your inventory. Repeatedly, every 60 or so seconds.

then remove it, popup goes away,

Then it comes back 60 seconds later. Do you think this thread would exist otherwise?

it's not fixed unfortunately.....

Same issue, when you press the right click to get rid of the popup on your screen it uses your secondary as well, super annoying to constantly use ammo on my secondary to get rid of pop up spam

Really strange, after I downloaded 2.06b those popups just went away for me. I have like 3 unused Update Mods sitting in my Exo Suit Inventory and never seen the popup again.

If you have several ships, then store all unused modules in one of the other ships, problem solved..
Brayzenn Aug 17, 2019 @ 1:50pm
Problem NOT solved....storing modules on ships in freighter does not work.....all mine are on a hauler in freighter, still get pop-ups

The solution for me was discovering one of my circuit boards wasn't a normal circuit board...It was a scanner upgrade module.
Very annoying until I found it. They really shouldn't make upgrades that look like other things.

I got that message a few times. It stopped after I sold the modules.
patgal5492 Aug 18, 2019 @ 7:29am
I have an upgrade module in a Roamer and still got the message long after leaving it. I had to switch to another exocraft to get the message to stop. Truly a sign that they don't play their own game. Give us the ability to remove all the pop up windows or make them a one time only (maybe a checkbox for Never Show Again).
