Find and Destroy depot missions BUG.
Title says it all.

I did two missions of the sort through the Capital Ship. The first one, when i got to the depot site, i used my ship to blast the depot to bits. Yet, it still says 0/5 depos destroyed. I figured, hmm.. i have to get close to it on foot perhaps? I did. Nothing. So i figured of restarting. I abandoned it, got it again, yet to find the depot still destroyed. So theres that i guess..

There was another depot mission to which i took, this time i took a different approach. I landed a good few meters away from it and used my boltcaster to destroy it. Still nothing. So now, i have two missions which rendered uncomplete besides given the fact that both depoys are totally destroyed.

Anyone else had this problem?

Same ♥♥♥♥ happening. Tired of this stupid bug with CS mission as yours. Helps only canceling mission and to start new one of any other type (kill someone or find minerals). Complete new mission and bug dissapears.

I found logging off and then joining my friends game and going back to my base worked, i made the same mistake by blowing it up with my ship.

I delete it using NMSSaveEditor, I have 2 depots quest bugged.

lol, go in on foot till it says you arrived... then destroy them anyway you want... but otherwise if you do so by ship or from too far away nadda

lmao. This was my cirst depot mission and when i saw the sentinels guarding it, i thought i was being smart by using my ship to destroy it. lol

Sentinels won't attack you as long as you aren't shooting.
They are guarding depot.

But, yeap, that's bug.

The trick to avoid that bug is to start a mission on your freighter, go to star base and teleport to another system (you can warp as well if you don't want to teleport) and try to do mission now.

If after that you still haven't got marker / info in right (down) corner of your screem that shows 0/5 depots are destructed, then repeat the same but instead going straight back to system from base, first go to planet in other system, go to planet, find depot and destruct one.
You'll get "wrong system" message.

Then you should be OK.

Revard is Hot Ice, we need that to build cryopump but if you are trying to get that for those 2 millions, be aware that you can find much better blueprint in manufacturing facilities then cryopump, some of them can be sell for 10, 15 and maybe even more millions...

Yup. Managed to remove those pesky bugged missions and had it refresh for new ones, i figured it out by actually doing what you just said (warping in and out). Took a while to figure out the path of the Sentinels too. Their quite easy atm.

And as of now, i really don't know much about crafting high tier blueprints, i'm just doing Freighter Missions so i can get those sweet-sweet mills so i can buy a better starship and buy a better multitool/rifle. And i kinda don't want to search for a How-To guide for earning mills. I don't want to spoil myself, i want to figure out everything on my own.

And that's the best way for this game. (And all the other games :) )
I watched few tutorials, better to say gameplays, just to learn few mechanics (mainly how to boost upgrades and mix them in inventory to get max from them) because NMS is huge game ...but that's all, everything else I'm learning on my journey and for now, it's fantastic journey.

Exactly! As much as i want to, i try to distance myself from those. I also want to watch LP's of it, but i'm really afraid of spoiling myself.

Yep got this bug too. I did it with ship last night and it says 0 outa 5 depots destroyed. I abandoned that mission. Today I picked another destroy depot mission. This time I did it on foot same thing. I have submitted a bug report. I will also try as funky0308 suggests and see if that works as I havent abandoned this mornings mission yet.

Whenever you're going to do this, better do it on foot.

Well good thing the missions refresh every day. It would suck to have those missions stuck there. But as of now, they still do stay destroyed on that planet. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Cant do the mission now anyway as when I quit and loaded up the game again the mission has gone from my log. I would have to pick the mission up again and it would probably just send me back to the already destroyed depot.
