im going abit insane ive been trying to find emril but having no luck what so ever. ive been to 10 diff galexys and to every planet on it still havent found it. were can i find this? need to get that atlas pass built but cant find emril. getting abit of a joke

yellow stars have cooper.
red stars have cadmium (you need a cadmium drive to warp to them, or a freighter)
green stars have emeril (you need a emeril drive to warp to them, or a freighter)
blue stars have indium (you need a indium drive to warp to them, or a freighter)

Doesn't matter how many star systems you go, if you don't have the needed driver you can only go to yellow stars, and if you only fallow the quests sugested path in the star map, you will only go to yellow stars, you have to build the driver and find a color star near by that you can warp and select it to go there and find more rare materials.

also, if i remember right, now you can buy the drivers recipies in space stations. insted of find them.

thanks for all the replys,i did try google and the wiki but still having difficulty. i didnt no about the warping to diff colour stars, ive just been followiing the questline to the atlas station which have probably just been yellow then. i have a freighter just the standard one from questline, can i send that to green stars or can that some how warp me to the system with it?

Yeap, the questlines only send you to yellow stars. You need to go out of your way and be an explorer to go to color stars. They have a higher chance of harzadus and exotic planets with rare materials also in my experience i found better economic systems in them too.
Go to the freighter console, one of them is the galatic map, use it, them you will open the warp map normaly like you do in your normal ship, but you will be able to warp to color stars, select a green star in the warp limit distance and go there.

you can also buy blue prints for the warp drive upgrades that allow your normal ship to warp to color stars. but most of the time i use my freigheter, the fuel it uses is less expensive IMO.

have a good time exploring the new sytems. Also I'm not saying it is the norm, but i found 2 exotic ships in blue stars with a great economic system. You can build an economic radar in your normal ship to be able to see the economics of a system in the warp map, but usually the more planets a system have the probability of it to have a great economic is higher.
Be prepared for very hard to survive planets, take a look for upgrades to your hazard shield, hot/cold/toxic/rad in the space station exosuit tech seller, i never saw one of them selling blue prints for those, but i bought pre made tech with them. you just have to install it.

right ive managed to get cadmium drive and ive installed hyper drive upgrades mod and have now repaired my freighter again but it says my freighter has no warp fuel and im unsure how i refeul as nothing comes up in resources bit, also when on the warp menu in the freighter it still doesnt select the other stars just the yellow ones ive been to already :/

to make freighter fuel you only need tritium and dihydrogen it should apear in the consumable table of the resources menu, i don't remember having to learn the recipie for it and you need to press the right mouse button to go into free mode to fly around and select the stars.

thank you soo much even with that info it took me all night to work ot but now finally on a green star :) getting late now but i found a emril patchbefore i left and went to use the terrain tool and i got nothing from it :/ hope its just bugged at that 1spot but il find out tomorrow :p i do use terrain tool on it dont i or am i being retarded (i am actually disabled myself and have complete nerve damage in my right arm so imm not trying to be mean against the disabled) thanks again for the help

Yes the right tool to mine emeril is the terrain tool, it doesn't need upgrade or anything, you just need to mine like you mine copper. The node you found is probably bugged, try another one.
I hope you don't have more problems with bugs and moving on in the game. Have a nice exploration. Cya!
