Yes, and the only way to unlock ammo types is by playing multiplayer "To Battle" rounds.

Good guide for beginners. Personally, my favorite ammo is stealth ammo for aerial targets. It takes a while to get the hang of it since you don't have tracers to guide you, but once you do, it's clear that it does more damage, and above all, you don't alert other players that they're being attacked. It's more useful, of course, when the players are real, since bots know you're shooting at them regardless of the ammo...

Hey guys, i dont know if you guys listen to community suggestions but could you make a system where one person flies a aircraft and one person is the backseat gunner? it would be pretty cool to have you and a buddy crew a aircraft. I mean hell you could even take it a step further and have a dedicated bomber crew game mode where you and 10 other guys(or bots) crew a B-17 or any other aircraft on a bombing raid. it would just make playing with a friend so so fun

May you please add option to check unlock requirements for those ammo belts "before" being in the battle?

Im destroying a lot of ground targets with guns and bombs, but the progress stays at 0 all the time.

For MG 151, "minengeschoß" is the best.

The guide is good in general, but I wonder if the ammo types carry over from War Thunder. Like, for the Shvak 20mm usually tracers is the best belt because it contains solely FI-T which hold the most HE. And for the US 12.7mm, tracer is also the best belt because its solely API-T which light planes on fire fairly quickly. If they do follow the same principle as War Thunder, theres a great guide online for the best ammo type per gun

I gave a very bad review because of this complete idiotic problem. I also gave them a bad review on my YOU-TUBE channel and posted it on here as part of my review. In 30 years of flight simming I have never seen anything like this. The HOTAS system is totally broken. And they refuse to fix it. That should have been a day one patch. What gets me is they are the same people who did War Thunder and the HOTAS works fine on there. I talked to some of their Beta Testers who are You-Tubers and they confirmed to me they could not be bothered using a HOTAS and only used the game controller to test it. All these people including their play testers are fools.
