It might be due to the fact that the game is actually finished? As in, it's completely developed, and the devs have moved on. That's a thing with games, y'know. Once they're actually developed, the devs listen to initial complaints, make sure the game sells nicely, then they move on to other projects.

That's what I mean, though. They've finished the game. They think it has enough content and they've moved on to other projects. They're not working on Westerado anymore. I understand that a lot of indie devs today release games and then keep adding to them after they're released, but in Westerado's case, it's just a full, finished release, and I don't think they'll be adding any more to it.

not just indie games, its more or less a thing for games these days, updating games as so the game doesnt die

That's the thing, a game doesn't "die". It just runs its course. That means, it was developed, then released, then people bought it, the devs addressed any complaints the players had, then they moved on to other games. That's how triple A games work today, too. The devs release the game and use some DLC to keep it afloat until they eventually decide to just leave that game and work on a new one.

I'd definitely be up for some DLC, actually. I'd love if the devs could add some. Thing is, they've been awfully quiet, so I don't suppose they're gonna be working on the game anymore.

It's this the world we live in now? Demanding DLC? The game is finished. Get over it.
Bounty Killer May 1, 2016 @ 3:14pm
That's the cycle a game goes through. Eventually, the developers see no fit to add anything new to the game. Plus, they might make a sequel anyway eventually.
