New Weapon: EMP Mine

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2257147550

Lets off a powerful electro-magnetic pulse when it explodes, disrupting the senses of anybody hit.

New Weapon Modifier: Disorientating

Spears are fitted with an electrically charged electrode that shocks and disorientates sharks on contact.

Thunderhead arrives!

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2257177131

Thunderhead has a special electric organ near the front of its head allowing it to pin and shock its prey.

64-bit Testing

Depth now runs using 64-bit binaries. If they work smoothly for players, we will start taking advantage of the extra memory this gives us in future updates. The 32-bit binaries are still available in the shipped files, but will be removed in the future.

Is the 64 bit binary the default version used by just pushing the Play button on Steam or is there a specific file we have to manually click in the Depth folder?

It's the default, but the change looks like it's taking some time to propagate through to Steam clients. Restarting Steam or just waiting a bit should fix it...

Small bugfix just now:

  • Fix to the Hadal Horror Treasure (not the Gold one), so it shows you what you get (previously they DO open fine - but you don't see what you get, the menu just gave an error)
  • Fix for the silhouettes on Thunderhead.

It sadly looks like the progression system for unlocking the modifier isn't working in LIVE, we'll be getting that fixed in a hotfix (probably tomorrow).

Why skins from past event aren't tradable yet?

Still no DX11 or any balance changes regarding items. Instead more options for the divers were added, when they already have too many.
I really, really can't seem to find any hint of you even caring about feedback when you do stuff like that. In fact, that you added more types of mines (you know, one of the most annoying and hated items in the game) honestly is telling me that you are actively trying to give the community the deathblow after all. I am already seeing friends saying they're uninstalling.

don't worry the mine is useless, it's meme quality

Just tested it. It really is garbage. 5 seconds of scuffed shark-screen on the shark basically. However, thanks to DiCo coding, it has one redeeming quality that it shares with the PAT: The static sound easily gets stuck till you restart the game.
Nonetheless, that they added more options, meme or not, is the wrong move. Even if it's just a meme at best. I mean, to be honest, it doesn't disorient like the normal mine does (flips you screen pretty much), it costs 150 gold each, has a similar range to the normal mine, does no damage and the 5 seconds of no outlines are no more than trivial. The visual FX doesn't really impair your vision at all, like a sharkscreen or the smoke after an explosion would.
It's virtually useless and, probably, only has potential in harassing literal beginner sharks. In every case you're better off just using regular mines.

Again, why DiCo? Why do you want the game to die this badly?

Change it to something useful if you really need to add more options (you don't). Like a PAT that slowly drains stamina if too close (still kinda useless unless made way too OP but hey, it's a change).
