It's the default, but the change looks like it's taking some time to propagate through to Steam clients. Restarting Steam or just waiting a bit should fix it...
It sadly looks like the progression system for unlocking the modifier isn't working in LIVE, we'll be getting that fixed in a hotfix (probably tomorrow).
I really, really can't seem to find any hint of you even caring about feedback when you do stuff like that. In fact, that you added more types of mines (you know, one of the most annoying and hated items in the game) honestly is telling me that you are actively trying to give the community the deathblow after all. I am already seeing friends saying they're uninstalling.
Nonetheless, that they added more options, meme or not, is the wrong move. Even if it's just a meme at best. I mean, to be honest, it doesn't disorient like the normal mine does (flips you screen pretty much), it costs 150 gold each, has a similar range to the normal mine, does no damage and the 5 seconds of no outlines are no more than trivial. The visual FX doesn't really impair your vision at all, like a sharkscreen or the smoke after an explosion would.
It's virtually useless and, probably, only has potential in harassing literal beginner sharks. In every case you're better off just using regular mines.
Again, why DiCo? Why do you want the game to die this badly?
Change it to something useful if you really need to add more options (you don't). Like a PAT that slowly drains stamina if too close (still kinda useless unless made way too OP but hey, it's a change).
