S.T.E.V.E. has gone haywire opening safes! Fight for control of S.T.E.V.E. then make it out with him and the riches!

- Teams score points by taking control of the area around S.T.E.V.E. and holding it until the Safe unlocks.
- The first team to reach a score of 3 points wins.
- Occasionally you may be offered the position of shark for your team.
- Use your limited time as a shark to push the enemy team back from S.T.E.V.E.

Play in the event to unlock Aquatekk and Impact Labs themed rewards! Support the Haywire 3.0 event to unlock supporter rewards and earn 180% event score!
Newly released event skins will be tradeable and marketable a week after the event's conclusion.

Playing in the event can earn you a Gear. Craft these into a Treasure, or a reward of your choice!
  • The event itself now gives Treasures rather than Crafting Tokens.
  • You will earn a Gear for every game you play.
  • You will also earn a bonus Gear for every game you win!

  • Haywire - Reverted diver movement to dashing (rather than sprinting)

  • Haywire treasure Coral/Coastal skins made craftable
  • Equipment Destroyed quest can now be earned in Haywire
  • Behavior bans system now available (banning players from chat/VOIP, or from using explosive weapons)

hey man, i need help with something. I cant bind a key for " select welder " (the tool to repair steve). I rebinded keys for other stuff which worked well, but not for this one, in fact it wont appear anymore while i play, not even by scrolling down the weapons and tools.
oh yeah! Good work.

The post states that there is an event bar for treasures, and the bundle includes bonus progress for said event bar. It's not put in yet. The event isn't fully functional, I didn't get any gears for the game I just played.

We're having some issues with servers in the 'North America East' region - other regions are running fine. Looking into it atm.
Thanks and great work fixing the biggest issue with Haywire 2.0, guys. Glad to see some improvements to the game. That said, these repeated events that are nothing but a select few skins are getting really boring, and I said it last year, too. I get the need to have a good chunk of events with just skins, especially now when the game is so old, but at the same time, I feel like the skins are all the same style. I don't really like to use all the robot or alien or dragon skins and we haven't gotten a good selection of realistic skins for sharks in ages, and because of that Lemon and Copper don't even have albino skins, and this is finally lemon's second skin after the shadow dragon (which is still pay to win) skin, which is also good, but couldn't it have been something that isn't equally silly?
Silly skins are fine, but as someone who enjoys playing lemon it's annoying that my options for skins have went from default or pay to win dragon to default, pay to win dragon, and robot shark skin #4. The original three sharks prove you can have plenty of reasonable skins without making them duplicates, the original skin packs were all unique and up until the zombie hammerhead were all at least reasonable realistic, so I just don't see why we can't get a few of those types of skins for other sharks. The only shark to get a realistic skin since the release of subclasses is the copper, who only got it relatively recently if I recall, and if you want to consider the albinos realistic, the blue (though personally I hate these skins as well because they unsurprisingly stick out like a sore thumb) and in total those sharks have, if I recall off the top of my head, seven skins across three sharks. The shark with the next fewest skins is I believe goblin (I am not familiar with the goblin skins because none of the skins for it are particularly nice looking to me other than the base one), which I am almost positive has at least seven skins to itself, while these three get seven to their name. I should mention of those, three of them are blue skins.
I think we all questioned the addition of subclasses to begin with, but... They're here to stay, and frankly I think they deserve more love than they're getting if we're gonna have to live with them. There's only three of them, and they have very few skins, if we're not gonna get more subclasses at least give us something for the ones that already exist.
So just had a 6 diver vs 2 shark blood and gold match and I only qued for haywire. lol

We have removed a machine from North America East, and are currently beating it into submission. In the meantime, have replaced it with a new machine and matches are back up and running now in that region. :awkward:
So how exactly do you get the gears? I've won matches in both haywire and blood and gold neither have given any gears. Several wins of each.

We're going to work on making these more obvious - we didn't get an end-game scoreboard popup in on time. For example, I just had a look and you've got 17 Gears so far.
