Proprietary format for workshop items
Some of my concern if I'm going to post my Live2D avatar to the workshop is, my files are leaving open unprotected in any way. Because Live2D SDK are free, anyone could pick any moc files they found on internet (or workshop) and uses it for other purpose like incorporating it in their game, live wallpaper, desktop toys etc without consent of the original creator.
Or in other case, anyone can even edit out texture on any Live2D avatar and call it as their own.

I'm just asking if our workshop avatar files can be encrypted in any way, that only FaceRig can be able to load it.
Some of submitted avatars are original creations of the artist. They should have rights to keep their works unaltered and exclusive to FaceRig. If they want their avatar to be used for public domain they can submit them to Live2D library instead.

I hope this can be taken into consideration, thank you :)

Bumping this. I still think it needs to be addressed so artists has no concern making their avatar available on Workshop..

Hi Sue,

We understand your concern, but we have no control over what somebody from the workshop does with the files they download.
That is why it is better that you don't share your models if you do not wish them to be used if other situations.
