How to get shovel in chapter 1 ?

I'm on day 6, and running out of idea about what to do in day time. So, I need a shovel to explore underground area.

Most of the shovel's parts can be bought from the morning trader that visits you every day past the first two. You can also find them in the second area, the Silent Forest, that Wolfman directed you towards when he visited you in the morning or if you surprised him in his camp on the first day.

You don't need it to explore the Underground, but it will let you dig up some nice loot from the rubble near the entrance. It's also arguably the best melee weapon.

You have to buy the workbench upgrade kit from wolfman, buy buyable parts from morning vendor and lastly pick stick from neutral stick savage near weird circles, just blast him with molotov because he will run away if you come too close.

[Barraka Frite]

You'll need two workbench upgrade from wolfman (200 rep), and parts from the vendor (~500 rep) and stick from one savage as previously mentioned (another one could be found in the silent forest entry) .
