[Bug] Black Screen (and fix)
Enough said http://i.imgur.com/GYfcaVH.png

(This fix was from an anonymous sourced)

Go to your Steam install folder, find a folder that looks like this...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\xxxxxxxx\273350
The "xxxxxxxx" will be some random-looking number. You've got the right one if you see a 273350 folder inside. Delete the entire contents of the 273350 folder.

Fix works, just have to do it each time after you exit the game and want to play again because Steam updates the folder. Good Temp Fix though, thanks.

i have now uninstalled the game and reinstalled. as well as deleting all files related to evolve but still i cant get into a match without my screen being black. The subtitles show, my HUD shows, and i still get audio but the view of characters is black. with a incredibly faded gold light in the middle of the screen. Anyone got something that could help me out?

It appears that for some reason when I use Optimize in the Geforce Experience software, the game settings become corrupt. I went into my "\Steam\userdata\SteamId\273350" directory and deleted all the files. Upon reopening the game and setting all my video setting back to max, I no longer have the problem. I can close the game and reopen it and everything is still working. However if I use the GFE Optimize again, once I enter a game the black screen issue occurs again. The only way to fix it is to once again delete those files and leave GFE Optimize off. The odd thing is that all the settings are identical between my regular config and the optimal GFE settings so I don't know why it's causing this issue. In the screen shot I attached, you can see I have "Anti-aliasing" off because I prefer it that way for now however with it on the game works fine unless I use GFE Optimize.

Same here. Using GeforceExperience breaks the game for me.
