Dialogue can be skipped with a click on another object. No worries!
No one cares if you don't play though, they aren't losing money on this one, it's free.
But yeah, rest assured that the engine will support save and loading, and of course creation of menus.
No, there is only 1-1,5 hour of play time. Also it would hurt the experience to not play it in one piece.
So dont want to start again. Unistalling and recommended to everyone to not even try this crap with that annoying issues.
The storry even looked interesting, but the options issue makes it unplayable. Even being a free to play game, this is a complete crap.

BTW:
Its not cool, its annoying. And ofc, this is NOT like opening and closing a book. When I close a book, I usually use a piece of paper. This way when I come back, I dont need to start it again. Maybe some people dont know that trick.
Also if you activate the Steam overlay before tabbing out, you can move the mouse pointer.
Maybe developer want us to play it straight without any pause. Then ok I can accept it. I just dont like it nowadays, sorry for that.
For me, the main problem is not receiving any kind of advice about that will happen; you just press ESC and you are out. And I didnt like it, it has frustrated me a lot.
Regards.
