Is it possible to turn off Cops in single player?

I want to mess with the civilians but every crime I do gets me a wanted level and I want to just have fun without police for a change.

just google gta 5 pc cheats, no way of being banned if you're worried about that either, the codes do nothing in multiplayer (some people seem to have never played older games with cheat codes in the games, I still remember several san andreas codes). There isn't a specific code for that, but there is one to remove stars, you'll still get them but can remove them when you want.

Go into director mode

In single player itself, you can use cheat-codes to lower your wanted level by 1 (lawyerup). However this probably ruins your fun, because you have to keep entering a code while playing.

Second is to start director mode (Editor > Director Mode). Where you can change your wanted level and also disable it.

As Fox said, you can also use mods. But director mode already does most of that, and it might cause problems if you're going to play online.

Director mode hardly does anything compared to mods. It's very basic and limited. Also, I don't see how you can have issues with Online if you do what you are suppose to and remove them from the GTA folder before going online. There is nothing to it.

Yes, you can using any cheat code but the achievement will disable during free roam session. You have to get the trainer to close wanted permanently
