Alexander Blade released a new version of the Script Hook. Before all of you complain about cheaters, this only works in single player only, not GTA Online. If it detects you trying to go online at all, it will close the game down. If you want to play on GTA Online, you have to remove the mod. This was done as Rockstar added in Anti-Cheat detection to GTA Online so now the Script Hook forces the game to close before it gets detected.

As I said, this is for SINGLE PLAYER ONLY! Do not attempt to modify or use it while in GTA Online or risk being banned.

That is false, the previous version of script hook stays in memory, even while playing GTA Online. All it did was prevent the user from accessing it in GTA Online. So GTA Online still detected as running in the game even if the user couldn't use it. This is what got people flagged. Using it in single player only should not get you flagged as cheating as the game doesn't use the cheat detection routines until trying to connect to GTA Online.

This is what lead to many -legit- cheaters from getting flagged as cheaters in GTA Online. This version will not allow you into GTA Online until its removed to prevent the game from detecting it.

At any rate, use at your own risk. Unless you connect to GTA Online with any mods/cheats, chances of getting banned are slim to none.

It is reported that using Alexander Blade's scripthook in SP also gets you banned from GTA Online. It could be that it detects the scripthook itself and bans anyone using it.

GTA5 is boring without mods imo. Ragdoll mod makes it funnier and enjoyable.

Using modified files on singleplayer will get you banned online. Don't install mods.

modding single player is not allowed by rockstar and using a hackers script has resulted in others getting banned. They may start revoking cd keys if people keep violating the rules.

People who openly release mods of another developers game should be in jail for theft. I hope we get new laws to protect us from these types of people.

What is the ragdoll mod? Jumping and pressing R makes you go ragdoll in-game without modding.

game crashed but the best thing is to just unistall it and wait for much better mods like skin mods.

DONT USE IT. EVEN IF YOU USED IT SINGLEPLAYER ONLY LAST TIME YOU GOT BANNED for 2 weeks. Its not safe

... so, what about those who re-patched the game and used the old version of SpritHook before this new version's release? ... I mean, I got a friend who did that and I haven't seen him since .
