Crash On Startup? *FIXED*
I've been playing this game fine for several months straight until the lowriders update came out. When the update came out I started crashing on start up and have had no luck trying to fix it. I usually never have problems with games where I don't end up fixing them, but this one takes it. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Couldn't find anything online anywhere.

Here's my launcher log

GTX 770, driver version 359.00 (newest)
16 GB RAM
144hz display

I've verified game files twice. Reinstalled once. Edited launcher settings to a different DX version, windowed version, etc. Tried safe mode and retry in rockstar club, restarted computer, and update to newest 359.00 (from 358.91). The only thing I haven't done is downgraded to different drivers or reinstalled windows, I really don't want to have to do either. My copy is legitmate, not pirated. Makes no sense to me that my game would work fine for several months and then without me even changing drivers just not work. Thanks.

You might have something in your system thats conflicting with Steam. Check for any
Software that may interfere with Steam.

I should've mentioned.

I don't use any anti-virus, bloatware, whatever BS. My startup programs are really only Steam and Skype. Every other game on steam for me works fine. I have no program that is Interfering with steam.

I have the same problem. I installed the game last night, it goes into the Social Club launcher, but when I launch the actual game it immediately crashes.

Go to your documents > Rockstar Games > GTAV > launcher

In the GTAV folder you will see a text document that says "launcher." Open it and take a screenshot, maybe it's a different crash than mine.

could it be your router then? try removing it and then plugging directly into the network without it.

Maybe it's the Graphics Card, I have the same one.
GeForce GTX 770
i7-4770K CPU@ 3.50ghz
32 GB RAM
Still on version 355.98 for the card driver.

I don't have a text document in the folder. I've never gotten the launcher to run.

Have you imported any music into the game? My friend had and put too much music in which made his game crash on startup.

I have the same graphics card and have never had any problems with that one.

I've never made any single moderation to the game, if I unkowingly did then my reinstall should have cleared it all.

I don't think my router plays any part in this. If I was having trouble playing online mode then maybe, but I can't even get on singleplayer mode where online access isn't required. Unplugging my internet connection and starting up the game, I will get the same problem. This doesn't seem like a problem with steam, either the game or graphical problems. Maybe even Windows, I'm not sure.

I have a fresh install as well. It appears to be something video related for me. The game launches for me in a window if it's not the top window. As soon as I make it the active window, it crashes.

I found the problem for me. It was my Cyborg Rumble Pad. When it is plugged into the USB port, the game crashes. If I unplug it. The game works fine.

Let me unplug my extra peripherals and see what happens
