Software that may interfere with Steam.
I don't use any anti-virus, bloatware, whatever BS. My startup programs are really only Steam and Skype. Every other game on steam for me works fine. I have no program that is Interfering with steam.
Go to your documents > Rockstar Games > GTAV > launcher
In the GTAV folder you will see a text document that says "launcher." Open it and take a screenshot, maybe it's a different crash than mine.

GeForce GTX 770
i7-4770K CPU@ 3.50ghz
32 GB RAM
Still on version 355.98 for the card driver.
I don't think my router plays any part in this. If I was having trouble playing online mode then maybe, but I can't even get on singleplayer mode where online access isn't required. Unplugging my internet connection and starting up the game, I will get the same problem. This doesn't seem like a problem with steam, either the game or graphical problems. Maybe even Windows, I'm not sure.
you're a legend dude, works for me now. Thanks so much, was either my SNES or GC USB.
Thanks man! Still working 2019. I was with my DualShock pad connected, unplugged and it worked!
