what makes you think a petition will work after they used lawyers to shut them down. They spent a lot of money to make this happen. No way is some lousy forum petition going to work.
Well looks like the game is going to die and they won't get money from shark cards cause modders believe it or not kept online alive by giving players money because unless you want to sit there and collect crates for a warehouse for 6-8 hours and maybe get it blown up by someone in a hydra theres no other ways to make money
MC bussiness are the same thing they just make you less money but its passive so you don't have to do anything

Thanks god am already out form this age of modding game.
if they think this will stop modders, they should get a reality check, code injection is widely the problem affiliated with mods. by using obfuscation they hide the code from anti-cheat, the gtaV process is hooked into by external modules which i nturn trigger events on the servers themselves. i only know that because i messed about with those old skool "the flash mods" etc.

making single player a mod free zone, just further makes elements of this game a money trap. freaking shark cards my left @ss cheek. So not worth the effort, but don't worry. doing something like this will make modder's get more sinister through time....R* are inevitably going to wreck the game because of driving shark cards too much, even though they are optional..

if mission payouts were more adequate, and the prices in game weren't so ridiculous. modding wouldn't have became so bad in the first place, seriously 4m or something for new vehicles. Think about it.....each one is valued at £32.50 approx. (double in dollar) - you only get a pathetic 8m for £75. and that's a waste of time too. 8m won't get very much at all, they cost more than the game itself, one word : lame.

killing off mods for the sake of protecting intellectual content, would make sense however, but will it stop the cheaters? i think not

Where's the logic in that? No one will buy shark cards because modders won't be giving out money? Sorry to ask, but are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

Quick correction, Take-Two Interactive are the villians here, not R.

What stops Take-Two to go after Scripthook creator ? Nothing, just wait and it will happen.

Yes, I'm sure the vehicle modding scene are responsible for all that cheated in money ...

well, whichever. it's a shamble of a business model. way too conniving. the game got money-douched. exactly as i said a ways back. The more that dev's up the ante on greed, they make themselves a target for coder's. It's a protest at ignorant money antics if you ask me. T2 have a bit history with messing up gamestbh.

No one wants to support R* after what they did here so Im pretty sure if theres no modders there not going to buy shark cards and support them

well, i wouldn't either. It's just a low move to abuse gaming habits like this, they deserve nothing

Most vehicle companies don't allow to make their cars to be destructible, and alot more. Idk how its works with mods, do car companies care, what they do, do mod makers get it or developer of the game.
