ERR_MEM_EMBEDDEDALLOC_ALLOC Game memory error. Please reboot and restart the game.
This error comes up every time I try to enter the game, both story and online. I have tried numerous fixes and not one of them worked. No mods added to game.
I have GTX 1080, i7 6700k, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, Window 7
I have tried deleting the install directory, installing on a different HDD, completely removing my drivers and reinstalling them cleanly, deleting anything in the mydocuments directory for it, I have increased the page file to 75GB and still nothing. When I check it's memory usage while it's running it is only around a GB. It even crashes in the bare minimum settings.

Am I seeing things or did you initially have Multialloc as the error? I'd point at Redux.
That is the only thing in common with any other "multialloc" errors I've seen...
(though, I suppose other mod related problems could generate that)

The typical link I use for the embedalloc error-
http://steamcommunity.com/app/271590/discussions/0/1368380934255552581/#c1368380934255568137

No mods you say. Is that - never, ever? Don't be like the last guy that said he's removed all the mods (but kept putting them back in prior to testing... /facepalm).

You've deleted the install directory (if true would have removed all mod/files anyways).
You've reloaded drivers - safe to assume DDU'd the gpu drivers and installed fresh?
(as in also not using whatever windows decides to load)
What other drivers? Any extra video, audio, game controller drivers? Disable them/or all... to test.
You've deleted whats in my docs/rockstar games - defaults settings, saves, so on.
You've got a functioning pagefile so that is checked off too.

However, using 1 gb while its in memory? Naw, something is wonky.
Do you got an onboard gpu? Disable it in devicemanager(bios preferably).
Anything else open in the background? Stop/close/end it.
(or.. msconfig, services, hide ms services, disable the rest. Same for startup. Apply/restart)

What does eventvwr.msc / custom views / admin events say about this error?

Typically for 8000003's that show both in log/eventvwr - I use these 2 links-
255(ff) , 0xc0000005 <---- 0x80000003 is both.

Sometimes you can get mixed codes and the fixes will vary (but most are still listed there).

You checked/clean the directory of mods? You didn't answer the mod question.
(asking because many people use folder copies that may still have mods - just being thorough)
You did DDU the gpu drivers? Or used control panel to uninstall? Or just straight reinstalled?
You did manually delete the d3d*.* files from the 2 listed folder and reinstalled dx?
Verified cache multiple times? (AV's sometimes cause probs).
No compatabilities set on the .exe's?
How'd the sfc /scannow turnout?~

Just being thorough - anything I've tv'd with those errors has been fixed with those links.
(definitely doens't mean that they haven't changed something - or a new problem is pop'n it)

What else has changed? When did this start? You have plenty of playtime.
Change of system? Reinstall OS? New hardware? Just.. started one day?

No mods, used DDU, deleted d3d and reinstalled, verified cache every time, no compatibilities set, ran scannow and it didn't find any integrity violations.

Not sure when it started, I haven't played it in a while and it just did this when I tried to play on tuesday. I think there's been several updates since I last played, don't think I've had any changes to my system in that time.

I managed to get it working again, sortof. Don't know what the problem is but it only seems to affect Windows 7 as I've tried it on my new W10 HDD and it has no problems.

Hi i get this exact error when i press pause after maybe 30 to 40 mins playing. I have about 40 vehicle mods installed and I know that its probably the cars but i just want to find a way around it without having to get rid of some cars. My game pauses and plays like normal until i play for 30 to 40 minutes and press pause then it crashes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

^@barro " ****Regarding the desire to not remove mods.......................... start with checking into using an updated/modified gameconfig.xml to increase certain limits ingame. "

...Or custom make one yourself. Or, be a bit more picky with the vehicle mods you do install / how they are installed. Addons is one thing, replacements is another - especially if they are pop'n up in traffic all over. Plenty of cars are in the 5-12mb range. And then some... span the 25-50mb range - that I absolutely refuse to load. Too big. Waste of resources.
