On December 3, Aeterna Lucis will finally be in your hands

The wait is over. We are thrilled to announce that Aeterna Lucis will launch worldwide on December 3, 2026, for $24.99 / €24.99.

Taking this extra year was never a burden or a painful grind. Quite the opposite: we allowed ourselves the privilege not to rush, to nurture the game down to its core, and to pour countless hours into every single hand-drawn frame and seamless area until it carried a true soul of its own.

With genuine humility, we believe our Queen will shine with an extraordinary light in the Metroidvania genre, and we know you will feel all that passion the moment you pick up the controller.

What will you find in Aeterna Lucis?

• Seamless interconnected world: Fully fluid exploration from end to end, with zero loading screens or artificial interruptions.

• Dynamic real-time lighting: A completely revamped engine where light reacts instantly with your weapons, projectiles, enemies, and environments.

• Hyper-detailed artistic map: A handcrafted miniature replica of every room at real scale with full decoration, allowing you to orient yourself at a glance.

• Visual storytelling through stained glass: Lore shared in an elegant, visual format designed for returning fans and newcomers alike.

• Aeterna Mode: A balanced, accessible curve focused on exploration, atmosphere, and platforming without frustrating bottlenecks.

• Lucis Mode: An uncompromising, relentless challenge designed for genre purists who loved the extreme difficulty of Aeterna Noctis.

• Rock-solid performance & rebuilt systems: Ground-up rework of save routines, clean memory management, and instant input response from day one.

There are no publishers or massive corporations behind this project; we are a fully independent studio making games our own way. The only real power we have to keep this saga growing is you—your voice, your comments, and your recommendations.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by us and believing in what we do.
