Cargo problem

I have 10t cargo, which is full, so I go to my base. I toss like 5t into my warehouse, and I head off. My boat still says it's 10t. I go back and try again, and again, and it's still saying 10t. When I'm in the base, it says my boat is like 5t, but when I head out it goes back to 10t.
Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Already I'm frustrated by the cargo and storage stuff, where I feel the majority of playtime will just be messing with my inventory.

You need to make sure to accept the changes before you leave the menu. ITs how the games UI and interactions are. I often leave without my scanner due to habit on how i leave the cargo/warehouse menu and having to go back to pick it up again.

After doing this (going to the base, unload cargo and leave the base), could you please go to main menu and send a report via in-game system. it will automatically attach your logs so devs can see what's going on and fix it.
