Tips to beat Armoured Fish Skin boss
Like the tittle, I need a tips or trick to defeat the boss in Base quest armoured fish skin.
Been trying to fight it with T4 Ship and T4 weapons.

I did it in T4 gear solo.
I had a corsair and machine guns with 2 cannons.
I had metal front and rear with plastic sides for speed but that was just how I had it for general play and I probably should have put full metal.
I think the problem with that boss is that it shoots missiles yeah? If it is that one then be aware that you can shoot the missiles down.
If it's not that boss with the waves of homing missiles then my bad. The missiles explode and the chain reaction takes out many of them so you only really take a few random hits if you are not paying attention.
If it's not that boss then all I can say is that I still finished it solo in T4 setup so just describe the boss better so I can try to remember the fight. The waves of missiles is the only thing I can think it might have been.
I have heaps of instant hull repair items too so I would imagine I used one of those at some point.

Yeah the missile is the big problem And I also aware it can be destroyed on air, but the main problem I have is that there is two small healing boat that running around. I destroyed them but after a while they keep spawning back.
The boss boat itself is very strong it took a while for me to deliver a good damage to the hull and even that I struggle to keep firing because my generator couldn't keep up. And when I have no energy I can't shoot down the missile which is very dangerous, So while I still struggle with my energy and avoiding the missile. The healer boat already spawned and healed the boss again. Making all my work delivering damage goes for nothing.

I also notice there is two small boat that have a big crane around the boss. I don't know what they do and is it important the destroy them.

Btw. Do you happen to know the different between the common generator and the wind turbine generator ? Coz I don't get it... I used t4 wind generator which is cheaper to build and produce higher energy than the T5 common generator.
Why is it T4 wind is more cheaper than T5 diesel generator and produce more power ?
There must be a downside using wind generator but I don't know what.

The only down for wind as best I can figure is the penalty for placing them next to each other. There is a small -% value on the mouseover tooltip in the production menu.
The bonus isn't all that tricky. Ships have a 100 component build limit so one T5 wind @ 100 power and a 5x5 footprint replaces a few lesser ones which gives you more possible armour and stuff to mount. I would need 6 diesel generators each with a 3x2 footprint to get the 100 power the T5 windmill gives. So that's 36 spaces vs 25 spaces and frees up 5 of my build limit. Also they are tougher. I have not looked into the other T4/5 options so offhand I don't know the rest of what you asked.
I don't actually know if the 100 component build limit is for the T4 ship I use or all ships.

And yeah in the fight energy is an issue the longer you fight but I still managed it. And yes I killed the small boats first. I wasn't entirely sure of their role but I thought the green glow looked like healing so I took them out. Maybe just pause firing for a while and heal yourself up in the downtime. Try to keep off the booster. Good luck.

I noticed the boss is shooting less missiles if you stay in close combat, running circles around it. Anyway, the rockets will not hit you so often or all of them and you simply forget about them and just shoot the boss. When the small healing boats appear, shoot those first, especially if they come close to the boss.

Put some speed on your boat and avoid to accelerate in order to keep the energy for your guns to shot. Do not use rockets ( I tried and failed many times).
And, of course, the level of your guns matters, the higher the better.

Mission has 3 stages in 3 different locations each, last one has a Glare that can be boarded. ( so do not lose the opportunity !)

Finally able to defeat it.

I reduce my weapon from 2x T4 Cannon 2x T4 Machine Gun 1x T4 missile, 1x T4 Granade launcher and 1x T4 Flak with Corsair.
Now I used T4 Brawler boat with Metal Frame, Wooden Hull and Plastic deck. And put some speed on it so I can get speed up to 80 without boost. 1x T5 Shark Canon 1x T5 Machine Gun and 1x T4 Flak. An i also put a lot of T1-T2 generator The idea is to prevent my ship from out of energy
What I did is that I shoot the boss from far luring him a bit a way from the others than I ram into the boat and stick my boat leaning to it and keep shooting. Turn out when you are leaning to the ship the most of the missile cannot hurt you because they fly in wide trajectory also Brawler is not a tall ship like corsair so less missile hit my boar when they are fired. But I also consume 1 repair kit and 1 damage boost.

With this all my base production module complete... now comes the haredst part... grinding my self from lvl 24 to 27
Having problems with the last wave (sharkees), I have a T4 corsair, 2 x 90mm, 1x60mm cannons, 3 xT4, 1 x T5 Mg's. All metal boat, with T3 & 4 armour. Nothing seems to sink them it just seems to bounce off, what am I missing ?
Answered my own question - Take out the jet skis first, then focus on the armoured dinghy's.
