Need Guidance

New to the game, I'm stuck...can't find the shipwright and the few last quests I have I get hammered quick. Any help would be appreciated.

If you press M, the map should show up. This map should show you where you are and/or where you can go in terms of quests, landmarks, and biomes. You also have a compass at the top of your screen.

[Scooby Doo]

If you hit J that is your journal/quest list Close the Eye so that you have fewer markers. Did you get the quest to go get the Shipwright? What part are you stuck with?
