It's a bit of a crappy workaround but basically to recover your stuff, Go towards where your cargo crate is and use up all your energy boosting towards it. Pick it up and quick loot it using E then the second you have it exit back to menu.
Log back in and the second the screen loads in, hit the fast travel menu and press go on whatever one is first. As it doesn't count you as being in combat for about 10-15 seconds after logging in, even if you are shot at.
I've had it on several occasions that you would get stuck in a spawn of ships that are way too powerful for your current ship, and this was the only way to retrieve my stuff.
With this particular location I wouldn't make it anywhere near my dropped cargo 2 T3 torpedo boats and 2 T3 cannon boats are right on top of it. I tried what you suggested before I wrote this and I don't last long enough with my T1 ship
I dropped over 600 Chemical waste.
your welcome to the "extra" resources the game isn't worth playing anyway.
This way the second you take damage they are instantly repairing. It'll keep you alive long enough to boost in and grab your stuff. But repairing 75-100 is expensive, so turn it back down to 25-50 for regular fighting. You'll notice your survival rate is significantly higher.
You need to read what I typed but I guess you can skip all that if you like this game I'd expect as much.
But you, Cristari, have been very prominently present in literally every thread that has anything negative to say about the game since pretty much day one, complaining about absolutely everything, including one or two complaints in different threads that literally contradicted each other.
So... Don't let the door hit your #ss on the way out.
Why in a T1 ship still ?
T2 torpedo boats so easy o disable mist times will see them just floating around with no crew for anyone to capture.
And it takes 5 mins after launching a very basic t1 ship to cap a fresh one anyway - they are super fast and simple to disable.
Likewise the T3 trawler hull.
And yet to lose entire cargo - even getting jumped by full T5 patrols - always a way back in -- holding emergency repair means you can last for a long time - even when getting hammered.
