Absolute no with Windows MR Headset?
Dug around just found one thread wondering if anyone with a Windows Mixed Reality Headset was able to play Pool or even get the game working/on

The game works the the Samsung Odyssey. However since the headset cannot see your back hand, you really cannot shot pool with it.
I have the Lenovo Explorer MR headset and it is true that when the HMD loses sight of the controller you lose control of your cueing arm when you take a shot. But it's possible to adapt your play so that your cueing arm is placed more forward and in the HMDs sight. It's not a natural way to play but it works and after a while you get used to it and can play the game just as effectively. Actually, using the vive/rift setup your cueing arm is still far too forward than the usual, natural snooker/Pool stance.
I got it working holding the controllers like your playing a trombone (hands reversed). One good thing about this is that you can easily play seated, whereas I assume the normal way requires you to constantly be standing.

Overall its a good game.. good production values, good visuals, pool is well done, good immersion. If you don't mind not holding the cue exactly like you normally would its a good game for WMR, definitely worth the price.

I've been struggling with the HP WMR set up (the reason I've kept trying is this game is such a great example of how to do VR games). Apart from the difficulty in judging power, its the missed shots / fouls that happen when the controller disappears / reapperas at the wrong time that really annoy me. I finally got into a bit of a rythm...

1. CUE ON
2. TELEPORT / DRAG INTO POSITION
3. ROUGH LINE UP OF SHOT
4. LOCK CUE WITH LEFT TRIGGER / QUICKLY PULL THE RIGHT TRIGGER ADJUSTMENT TO STOP ACCIDENTALLY TAKING A SHOT
5. MOVE BOTH HANDS TO CLOSER TO FRONT OF CUE SO BOTH ARE VISIBLE
6. ADJUST
7 RELEASE RIGHT TRIGGER AND TAKE SHOT
8. CUE OFF

(the cue on / off steps helps me avoid mishaps as I survery the table)

Short of a total rework of the controls for WMR controllers (MS videos suggest that with clever game design you can still track controls out of view because the pc knows where it left the fov and can still measure the orientation / speed of movement from the controllers built in sensors meaning you should be able to calculate where it is) I wonder if theres a quick compromise fix for WMR users? e.g.

A) being able to move the default hand postions on the cue to the front or back so both hands are visible as per step 5 meaning less faffing with step 4.
B) a button / setting that acts as a 'safety catch' - you can line up the shot with it on but you can only take the shot with the right controller if its within the central 50% of the FOV and you are not holding any of the right controller buttons

You're not going to be able to accurately recreate the feeling of playing pool without a table to lean on while taking your shots anyway, so making some small changes makes it work. I just take my shots like I'm using a bridge and I have no problems.

Other than that, WMR works presumably as well as the other headsets.

It took me half an hour to work around the controller behind your back problem. There is no law that says you have to bend over like youre at a pool table.. You will screw your back up in no time. I found the game great, well the Pool part anyway,
