BUG: getting stuck in wall sometimes
on occasion i experienced my own agents as well as NPC getting stuck some piece of wall, maybe happens when/ater taking cover, also had this around an ammo box one time. characters are animated as moving, but cannot move, they are stuck in place. please fix this nasty bug.

no way to recover from this except a reload?

There are different ways to get around it. Sometimes you can wiggle the agent out of it, but when that is not possible, you can force kill the agent.

Another option is using an UnStuck mod I made for the game to help getting the agent unstuck.

This is still the link:

So now, every agent will just get to the closest position that is part of the city as a walkable area. I even tried it on an agent in a vent, and he moved a bit while inside the went, then continued crawling through it. I am not 100% that it will work in all cases, but if anyone experience that it fails, then I will just make two unstuck key functions. The keys are still F11 or minus. The minus not on the numpad.

I also found a better way to show messages.<

The Post is from another thread, which is why I am referring to another post with some similar information

Yeah this is some stellar QA. :D
Got 2 agents stuck in walls during the tutorial.
Uninstalled right after.

The game does how quite a few quirks, but I think if you can get past them, the game is still great. Not sure when you played the game, but should be unlikely to experience this problem twice in the tutorial after the latest patch, which is now more than 2 years old.

The pathfinding for the game has its problems since you might get stuck. I guess I have gotten used to handholding the agents by clicking where they need to go several times and sometimes clicking at points I need to them to go first. I have not experienced agents getting stuck in more than 3 playthroughs now.

Generally you will want to guide the agents anyway, because they are not meant to try to avoid dangerous areas, that is for the player to avoid, so you have to sneak around for the most part, and when playing more aggressively, then you still need to take cover before trying to take on several enemies.
