Amazing game, awesome ending!
Just finished the game and I wanted to thank you for this awesome game!
I played syndicate way back and it is nice to see a similar game in this day and age!
In between my cursing (when I messed up) I enjoyed Satellite Reign a ton XD and that ending was really cool! thanks!

*Spoiler warning! This thread spoils the ending of the game!*

Post-apocalyptic setting would work quite well with the existing gameplay. Pockets of surviving high-tech in a wasteland of chemical poison and biological nightmares.

Well, the satellites seemed to all be heading for the city, so should be other cities left, unless the same thing was happening everywhere.

Yeah, it was a good ending, very fitting for the game. Would love to see a sequel or DLC for it, can always hope :-)

Is that what you're working on now? Is it? Makes me think of the m103 mission for Syndicate Wars (Unguided: destroy buildings in a halfway ruined city). According to the old TXT-file I found, I went through those unfinished missions in January 2008, after finding out on the internet how to access them:

"You can play any of the 108 missions by typing the following command play.bat type main /w /mXXX, where XXX is a number from 1 to 108. Please note that the disc contains missions that you cannot play in the regular game, but can be accessed only with this command."

I just found that Syndicate Wars from GoG actually runs without the errors I had on my other computer, on this new computer. So I might make another atempt at completing it again.

I don't need heat in the winter anyway. And the landlord will understand he'll have
to wait for the rent, if it's Satellite Reign 2. :happycthulhu:

You say there is a way to... UNLOCK. FURTHER. MISSIONS

in Syndicate Wars...?????? O.O

Yes, just as in the text I quoted. You can play any of the missions for EuroCorp or the Church of the New Epoch, plus some unfinished missions that might not work at all, including some Unguided missions that may or may not work very well. In the Unguided mission in Matochkin Shar the Unguided start out inside one of the compounds, making it feel like a prison break. That and the m103 mission are the only two I remember for the Unguided, but here's a list:

m040 Mirabelle Lucy de Saxo: collect items, persuade scientist in Bahrain
m062 Unguided: single 'agent', steal item in Rome (rescue hidden scientist first though)
m065 Unguided: have your own gangs eliminated in Honolulu
m066 Unguided: mission complete in Cape Town (no weapons, no people, buggy appearances)
m075 Unguided: single 'agent', eliminate executives at the meeting in London
m077 Unguided: single 'agent', eliminate zealot scientist in Riyadh
m078 Unguided: eliminate agents in halfway ruined city (start in water, use ALT+T, buggy)
m080 Unguided: protect civilians in Detroit (impossible?)
m081 Unguided: assassinate military leader for Singapore triad
m082 Unguided: destroy four zealot aerocraft in Matochkin Shar
m093 Unguided: have your own gangs eliminated in Honolulu (identical to m065)
m103 Unguided: destroy buildings in a halfway ruined city

Most of the other missions are the regular missions that are playable in normal game mode, or incomplete versions of those missions. Some of those mXXX numbers wouldn't even load.
