I tried to load a flying character into the map, but i still ended up with Emmett and Wyldstyle!
I think it's because the traverse is meant to be done on the ground, it disables flying characters.
It's the part of the game where you're rushing down a track to get to the Wild West section and can't stop moving.
Which is where the problem is, if I miss the jump or sandbag, I have to quit and do it all over from scratch.
It also looks like the sandbags reset each time, so unless you get all 5 in one run, no gold manual.
Now I'm having problems with the sandbags gold page.
I manage to hit sandbags 1-3 and 5, but somehow, completely miss sandbag 4.
I don't even see it before I'm past the marker!
I know it's somewhere near the rail track where you have to follow the mine cart to get the other one.
This is really a poorly designed challenge.
Given that you have to do the same segment over and over, to get there, you have to go through the tube again before you can even tackle the rolling run and when you quit to hub, it insists on doing the status update before it lets you go back to Bricksburg.
With a problem of this nature, I prefer to keep doing the problem area, not this other stuff.
And it's really close, so you have to be fast to get it!
That probably explains why I didn't see it.
The others are located on banks to the left or right, one is in front of the mine tunnel just before you enter and the last one is after the gap jump on the rails I think.
I turned V-Sync on (not sure if that matters) and instead of moving and jumping at the same time, I skated on the left rail and right before the jump I moved right and then jumped. It seemed to me that moving and jumping at the same time did not travel as far as moving first and then hitting the jump button.
It took me about 30 tries but 28 of them were before I tried moving then jumping. Hopefully this will keep others from wasting their time like I did.
