AoM compatibility with non-steam 2002 version
Hello,

Has anyone attempt (besides me) to play with someone on the 2002 version of Age of Mythology? My brother does not have Steam, nor plans to get it (idk why), but he does have the old 2002 version.

I forgot to mention that we are just planing on LAN. Not trying to play online.

The two are not compatible.

He can still use the old version and play it using voobly.com client.

Meaning he can using Voobly to play with other people who have that version and not people who have the steam version?

Yes, I also play there but I think he should buy the Steam version or at least add it to your wish list and they'll let you know when the game is on sale.
