Editor Crash

I was able to play several single player deathmatches without any problems. I began using the editor and everything was still fine. I played the tutorial and noticed a sudden reduction in the quality of the graphics. As soon as I finished the very first tutorial scenario, I chose to go back to main menu. I clicked editor. Graphics were still looking ugly. I decided to close the game and restart. Now there is no background animations in the main menu, and if I click editor, the game crashes. I tried right clicking AOM in my Steam library, went to properties, local files and clicked "Verify integrity of game files." It said there were 4 files that failed to validate but that they were corrected. Went back into the game. No change. I uninstalled and re-installed. The same problem persists. I tried to uninstall and delete remaining game files from my :C drive, same exact problem still. Please help me fix this problem.

Sounds like your profile settings are messed up. Try going to the options and creating a new profile.

I suspected it might have been a dodgy graphics setting and I know creating a profile would fix it. In the original game there was a low graphics option that would disable animations on the main menu and reduce the quality of the models and textures so was wondering if it related to that.
