Custom Graphics Settings
I can't be the only one that would like to have them. Yeah, I know it's a UE3 game and all, but not having to dig through the .inis to change something relatively trivial in 2014 would be nice.

I second that. I can usually run recent games at the High settings with antialiasing on, but I'm stuck with Medium in Lili which is fairly annoying. Seems it's due to the bloom effect.

For me it's the DoF during conversations that tanks my framerate.

Yeah, same, my game only lags a bit in some areas on Highest and doesn't seem to be running as smoothly as it should.

Switching from Highest to Lowest settings in this game changes only one line in the MazeSystemSettings.ini file,

DepthOfField=True to DepthOfField=False

There's 4 settings in the game, I can't seem to find any other file that changes with it. Also to note that the top 3 settings don't change anything in this file, just going from Medium, High, or Highest to Low changes anything.

It should also change things in the engine.ini.

You would think so, however it doesn't show any changes for me. Notepad++ informs me that it was changed, however all the lines are the same. A lot of Unreal3 games like this just change the *SystemSettings.ini file, some others do use the *Engine.ini file as well.

Huh, go figure. Thanks for your findings.

I just changed "bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE" to "FALSE", the game runs now (not perfectly well but) a lot smoother. One can find that in LiliApp/Engine/Config/BaseEngine.ini

I also recommend to change:
"ImageReflectionTextureSize=1024" to "2048"
"TerrainMaterialMaxTextureCount=16" to "32"
"TerrainTessellationCheckDistance=4096.0" to "1024.0"

for complete satisfaction.

PS: I also turned the graphics in the menue to lowest settings for not getting high on bloom effects.
