They've been working on rebuilding multiplayer in the new engine. They usually respond in the forums here, but I didn't want to leave this hanging without a response.

Yes we still support the game, and are stilling working on rewriting it. We will be releasing new builds in the coming months, but it has taken much longer than we hoped to get to where we are at this point. We will work on a more detailed update. I would encourage you to join the games group so you can get notified as we make updates.

We are working on finishing up this patch, still have a list of bugs and a few tasks we want to complete before releasing it so with it being the holidays realistically it will not be out til january. We will have full patch notes on release of the patch for those curious in what has changed.

Awesome! The more mech games on Steam, the better for everyone! ^_^

Here is a sneak peek of work in progress of the new mech cockpit that uses 3d holographic HUD elements powering up and down.

The new version of the beta will be this patch we are finishing up. We removed the beta due to the europe law changes. The new build going up will comply with those laws and allow you to opt out of any analytics. We hope to remove the old version on live and replace it with this version so we don't have to maintain two different builds and can focus on the new version. We have been slow with getting this patch out but it does contain around 100 tickets in our bug/task tracker. We are trying to finish up the foundations so we can start producing more content for it. The patch after this one will focus more on laying the foundations of the persistent universe in the game which is currently removed due to the rewrite of the system we will be doing.

So how long before we can expect a new build?

We do not have an exact date yet but I am hoping very soon. We are down to last two tasks and we have to do some final testing for any bugs remaining for the new build. When we have a better idea we will update everyone.

Still waiting. I am here to see if I should just uninstall it but I will give it a bit more time. I can tell you though that I now stay far away from early access games due to experiences like this.

Certainly don't blame you for your feeling on EA titles. Had we known that we would of gone down the path of total re-write, we wouldn't have put it up on EA.

As for a new update, we had a really good internal test of the multiplayer aspect of the game early this week, and are working through some issues found. While i still don't have a timeline yet, I would expect a release sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.

Please ensure this project sees the light of day as there's a dearth of mech games on Steam.

More power to you and your crew. :2017stickycrab:
