Cosmic Monolith

Despite following Frizs guide, and trying everything I can think of I can not beat the 2nd wave of cosmic monolith (on epic difficult)
The charges KO my characters before I can do anything. I've tried buffing, dispel and syphon doesn't seem to do anything. Am I missing something here

The Monolith's charge attacks are wiping your party? Dude. Get 100% Dark resistance or more on everyone. Cast Bind once or twice to lower the Monliths' ridiculous evade, then wallop them with Water and Thunder attacks. Keep your party buffed and heal when you need to, and you'll be fine.

Anna
Thors hammer, pope hat, dark gown
Balance, angel, and pocket clock flairs

Matt
Golden dragon, headband, officers coat
Diamond, silver cross, and triforce flairs

Natz
Tribolt, dark bauble, pope dress
Ancient rune, peace, and air flairs

Is the armor forged to Level 5? And is the Silver Cross Level 3? Also, take the Diamond pin off of Matt. Monoliths are immune to Stagger.

Everything is maxed out, armor and skills

I start by using bind, then big spark and thunder storm. Farthest I've gotten is 1 killed and half health for 2 but even when I'm at max health the charges wipe me out

Lance can't stay alive long enough to finish them off either even if I use him to revive and heal the rest of the team

You aren't buffing your party members. That's the issue.

For your first turn, have Anna cast Reflex, Natalie cast Barrier, and Matt cast Protect. 2nd turn, Anna casts Reflex again, Matt casts Temper on himself, and Natalie casts Charm on herself. 3rd turn, Anna casts Bind, then proceed with the walloping. Cast Bind again or use a Softdrink/Lock On on Matt and Natz if you aren't consitently hitting them.

Also, the Cosmic Monolith's Doomsday and Antimatter attacks are only 75% Dark, so if you give your party over 100% Dark resistance, they'll heal a bit from those attacks.
