Otherwise, I guess you'll have to wait.
1. Never end up playing it
2. end up playing it for a short amount of time and posting a negative review because they likely didn't research it
And now with Steam offering refunds, there is a good chance that a large amount of people will return it, once the sale is over, just because it was a purchase made on a whim or simply out of fear of missing out on a deal.
Now, I'm certainly not saying this applies to the OP in this thread, and I know there are people who have heavily researched the game and followed its development, but just can't justify the cost when so many other games are running 50% and higher discounts. Which is fine. We hope they continue to follow the game, and maybe after some of the large content and feature updates that we have planned are added, or after the game is complete, those people will feel it is worth the money.
We just want to avoid any perception that the game itself is of lesser value then it actually is due to a really cheap price tag, and if that means that we lose sales during this Steam sale, then so be it.
I cannot speak for others, and I have not taken advantage of the refund system.
When I say that I really want the game, is because I played 10 hours or so on my GF's account, but would like it for myself as well.
The issue is that I've had MANY bad EA experiences. So many. Cannot afford to spend 20$ on a game that might end up abandoned after a short while, like many other good promises.
