What's insane is surface fish still happily swimming around at ~600 metres down, lava level.
If you're going to do realism, I'd go for the easy ones. You know, spawns in vertical X axis layers n all.
p.s.
Why no Octopus? Or Squid? Or things close to them?
:sad panda:
Yes, they do.
If you want me to dump code, I can.
Suffice to say, Fish respawn, constantly.
What the ♥♥♥♥ are you people smoking?
The exceptions are in the large fish tank (water park) and Hoopfish spawn around creepvines planted in the planters. Both of these are unique to experimental.
Without refrigeration... not long.
The immersive feeling is somewhat gone.
There also is only one stalker left in the kelp forest next to my base all the others are gone (maybe killed themselfes i've seen them fight over metal).
There also is only 1 gasopod left in the whole map don't know where the others went.
When i release fish that i breed in my giant tanks they swim to the X Y Z coordinates 0, 0, 0
which is 25 meters away from my base at 0 depth looks really wierd.
hope they get it done with the farming update
Ya, there is so many awesome things on there it's hard to remember them all. :D
No, it is not. We are talking about fish breeding in the wild, not in the aquarium.
No, fish dont respawn. And please, keep the language clean. We have children viewing these forums.
We want people to explore the world. IN the upcoming large aquarium update you'll be able to hatch and breed fish, and you can then re-introduce them back into the wild if stocks are depleted.
