Reason why the game was abandoned.
I was a long time member of the dev team ever since the game was on Indie DB. I did basically all of the sprite work and art for the game. The reason why it was never finished was because our coding members ran out of tutorials to help expand the game and fix bugs.

I write this post as an apology to every single one of you suckers that bought this.

I'm sorry to read that after buying the game, anyway, I hope that at some point this good game comes alive

-Translated with google translator lol
That doesn't seem to match with a conversation I had with Jordizzle (ya know, the guy responsible for the art in this game). I'm not gonna lie, though, the whole situation isn't great for anyone, owners or developers.

Anyway, according to him, the game hasn't received any updates for this long because he had to get a regular job (as many of us do). That means he doesn't have as much time to work on the art. There seems to be stuff ready, but he needs to work on sprites and stuff before they get released. I do agree that the lack of public announcements (maybe even one to let everyone know of this) is concerning.

Jordizzle is my alter ego.

It's not. First of all, you mentioned coding memebers (plural) when Twin Drills have been a duo from the beginning. Also, I don't see Dragon Ball FighterZ on your library and your nickname have always been Craigosaurusflex while Jordizzle... well, at the very least he used Jordizzle at one point.

Again, if you cared at all to check the link I left for his Twitter, you could've come up with a better story... Nice try anyway. https://twitter.com/jordizzle/status/956968665592852480

It wouldn't be an alter ego if it was on the same account now would it?

Having two accounts to explain an "alter ego" makes no sense. Also doesn't explain why you thought the development team was comprised of more than two people. I'll believe what you say it's true when you tweet @ me confirming this or if you stop following me there (which hasn't happened yet).

Bro I don't even know you like that.

You follow me on Twitter if you are who you say you are.

If you don't believe me why don't you just ask me yourself?

If you are who you say you are, why don't you prove by unfollowing me as I asked? Or can't you do that because you're not him?

I've got better things to do like not develop an early access game.

What you're trying to say is "I'm not going to unfollow you because I don't have access to that account, meaning that's not me." It's as simple as clicking a button and you don't even have to open my profile to do so. Just go to the notifications tab, hover over my nickname, wait for the pop-up, and hit "unfollow." Until you do that, you're not a developer of this game.

And by the way, may I just point out how funny it is that you're saying "I've got better things to do like not develop an early access game" when your OP says you're not the one responsible for development being shelved. Let us remember the golden times:

Long story short, folks: this is a troll. One that doesn't know when to quit after he's been caught.

What are you talking about just cus I don't remember some guy doesn't mean I'm not a dev. Heres a sprite I just finished the idle animation for. https://imgur.com/a/0Td4F

I'm not asking you to remember anything. I'm asking you to unfollow me so that I know it's actually you. That will also prompt me to stop supporting this game in any way since you supposedely told me one thing on Twitter and now you're telling people something else here on Steam. Troll dude, you need to learn when to quit.

For the record, the Twitter links I provided will make it VERY easy to spot my profile. All you have to do is click the "unfollow" button. And by the way, it makes absolutely no sense that you "just finished" this sprite when you said you're not working on the game (here on this post). Why would you contnue to make sprites if the "programmers" (or rather, THE programmer because this team is a DUO) abandoned the project due to running out of tutorials?

I'm gonna make things much easier for you. Here's my profile. If you are who you say you are, you'll see that you follow me and I follow you. So go ahead and unfollow: https://twitter.com/unnecesaurus

You don't have to remember me, don't have to tweet at me, don't have to do anything that's too difficult (COUGH because you're not him COUGH). Just click "unfollow."

And if anyone here's doubting that the actual developer doesn't follow me, check this out: https://imgur.com/a/G7n3S

Once again, our interaction where he explains that there will be updates, but he has to find the time to do the art for them: https://twitter.com/unnecesaurus/status/957839479879929856

Now come on, troll buddy. Unfollow me. You do have to prove you are a developer cuz no one sees the "developer" tag beside your username and you're making some serious accusations regarding the development. It'd be different if you were just a regular user claiming the game was abandoned because of how long it's been since we had an update and the fact that the devs haven't been communicating. But no, you decided to go a little further and pretend you are one of the developers. So prove to us that what you say is legit cuz right now, no one has any reason to believe you.
