Problem is, once you lose the healer and don't have any mana left, it's really hard to come back into the game. I just addressed this problem to Phantom Compass via Twitter. They seem to know that there is a balancing problem ;)
Thanks for your feedback!
Using your healer to build up full mana, switch to the knight and activate his shield, ideally after just barely hitting him, so that he falls right back onto the flipper. Immediately switch to the rogue and go on the attack. When the shield runs out, switch to the knight again to reactivate it, since you should have enough mana left over. Once you're low on mana, repeat the whole process.
This is alluded to in the pre-battle cutscene when they say using the armor is necessary to defeat the Three.
Have fun everyone !
In retrospect I like linking all 3 bosses into one big battle at the end. I think if the cut scenes were seperated out so you didn't have to slog through them every time that'd be great (I even liked them the first time through, but not so much by the 3rd...). I found that the battles had me swapping a lot more characters than normal, which is fun, especially since the Rogue deals so much damage to the bosses but not so much the minions.
Thanks everyone for your feedback, we are listening.
I really wasn't aware how much damage the Rogue does with the armor. I mean, it makes sense but it might still be a good idea to stress it a second time (maybe as a gameplay hint?) that you should definitely try to equip the Rogue when hitting the bosses.
