How long does the game store models that have been precached. I have read in other posts that models get deleted automatically when not opened for one week, is this true?

Cache controlled by unity engine, not by the game itself. You should check info about unity cache. Unity stores files in cache for 150 days. But they can be deleted if there is not enough space for newer files. Also, some OS optimizers may clear unity cache, i think.

In my case, all the precached WOG content was cleared after every start or a restart of my PC (I use Linux Mint) and had to be precached again. But only two people (including myself) have actually tested this problem. Other people and the developers don't seem to be really interested in testing this problem, even though it will only take 10 minutes. I no longer play this game and there are no patch notes or a changelog, so I'm not sure whether this problem has been fixed.

Alright. It would be nice if more people test this problem with the game cache.

Your WOG progress may get reset for inactivity. You only need to subscribe to the Newsletter (you will receive an e-mail per 2 months) to protect your progress from being reset.
