So I got this messages from purchasing the game on AMAZON.COM

As of now we do not have any information regarding this from the developer of this game " eigoMANGA". Unless we have information and keys provided from the developer, we do not have any codes to issue.

In this case, I suggest you to contact the developer who will be able to assist you in getting the Steam keys or assist you with an alternative.

Please understand our limitations on this matter because I would've really loved to have this resolved to your benefit if only there was another way.

DId it say when buying that is steam version ? If it did then that is messed up but I buy digital games form amazon all the time and It always says in black bold in the info if a game requires steam. Or if not required but has steam version available, there will be a steam version DRM box to click like with the diferent systems.

I emailed them regarding changing to a steam key since the developer is sending out Steam keys to all past digital sales. Hopefully this will work itsself out or we might have to contact the developer directly.

I sent them a message to eigoMANGA on the subject of amazon and steam keys. and this told me

We apologize for the inconvenience.

We gave Amazon Steam keys for Vanguard Princess yesterday.

They will release it to Their customers soon.

Those emails you guys got are just from outsourced call center people. The actual digital games store rep for Amazon posts on http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/316950-amazon-pcdd-2-aliens-colonial-marines/ and http://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/ and he said yesterday he would look into it.
