Does the cube just stop moving or is it my system?
I've played a few times bouncing around and after a short while I always just get to a point where I can't move anymore. It doesn't actually end the game on. Everything keeps going on around me, but my cube just sits there unresponsively. I can find no way to awaken it.

appreciate any tips - or just confirm if this is the normal end of game. thanks,

I have this issue also. Seems like a bug. Alt+F4 to get out.

thanks Mighty Squirrel. So can anybody confirm if it's a bug, or is it just an end-game condition? Is the cube just supposed to stop at some point if I haven't done something - like if I don't eat or something - I'm not sure if I have something I have to do to keep playing?

Pretty sure it's just a bug. I keep running into it as well. Quiting the game and restarting fixes it, which makes it 99% likely to be a bug.

frannyan, thanks. I think it's more like a bug too - but I so completely didn't understand what was going on that I was thinking maybe my cube starved to death and died because of my stupidity! :-) It sometimes felt appropriate for how baffled I was by how the world works or what I was supposed to do. I simply wasn't picking up any feedback or reinforcement from my actions, so I wasn't learning and it all felt random. I wanted to like it, but think it's flying over my head.

@Swingline I can investigate that for you. If you could send the log (located in the data folder in your game directory, named output_log.txt) to - I can investigate and see if I can crack the case.

Also - if you bought on Humble, be sure to grab the latest update (it fixes most issues).

Hi Fritz - I'm forwarding the output_log.txt. Does the log need to be the last log when this cube stopping occurs (does it rewrite itself with each gameplay)? If so, the last time I played might not have ended with a cube locking up - not sure.

In any event, thanks for confirming that my little cube isn't supposed to die like that. The game is difficult for me to understand what is happening, so knowing my cube isn't supposed to die like that is a help :-)

I have had this issue multiple times as well, in the last couple days. It happens when I bump into a critter at the very moment when it dives down in the ground (and switches with another critter). The text appears and then just stays there, even when I click the Skip button, and my cube becomes entirely unresponsive. The map, journal and lists, and the world around my cube, still work, but I am unable to move my cube or use emotions.
Only exiting and restarting the game solves the problem.
