Stuck at Misty Woods - Find the Gumon Seal

So I am at my second playthrough, and I have not had any problems in my first playthrough, but I had to start the second one twice already, because I glitched through one wall and couldn't get out of there.

Well now that has not happened, but I am now stuck at the altar-hing in Misty Woods (?) where the gumon seal is supposed to be. I should see a button "press X to talk to Sein", but that button just is not appearing anymore.

What should I do?

Not sure what the problem is, maybe you can upload the save file and I have a look.
You can do that when you're stuck as well, there is a thread with a program for teleporting you out if you want to do it yourself...

Thanks, I was just being overlay carefull. I just kept going; I thought I broke the game progress because I didn't listen to Sein, but it all worked out. Thanks for answering though.

Same exact thing happened to me. I didn't talk to Sein where the chest is (in misty woods) and kept walking a little bit. When I went back, I couldn't talk to him anymore... How did you solve it?

You just go to the left - it triggers the scenes afterwards, you don't lose any content. Once you get to the gumon seal, the other cutscenes trigger.

Many thanks! Got it. I'm assuming you thought (like me) that hearing Sein would trigger something but you just don't get to hear his dialogue and the game resumes normally :)

Exactly, that was what I thought. And it scared me a little bit :D
