I love games of this genre, and I love this game's style. What a shame.
My guess is some gag-ordered exclusivity contract. Here's hoping to pick this up on Linux finally 18 months from now. When it's down to 80% off during sales and generates no revenue.
Good job guys.
Once the game has faded into obscurity, and a dedicated fanbase does the porting work that the dev should be doing, we can all pick this up. That is, if we happen to remember it still exists by then.
Mark of the Ninja was published by Microsoft, but it's on Linux.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet was published by Microsoft, but it's on Linux.
One would think that Ori and the Blind Forest on Linux is very much a possibility when considering the above. Please do look into this.
Also, since the game is on Steam, when is it coming to GOG? Quite a few people want to see it sold on GOG.[www.gog.com]
Thanks for telling us!
waiting for the agreement to expire! :)
