KINGDOM COME: DELIVERANCE MAY BE A GOOD ALTERNATIVE
The new game Kingdom Come: Deliverance has not yet been released and was just put on steam not that long ago, but there website was up way before and unlike TaleWorlds, there devs are very active and really appreciate the community's opinions. This game is also purchasable now from there website for early access. I say don't give up on Bannerlord but don't spend your life waiting for a game that may still be a ways of (no idea tbh). \

KCD Doesn't look like a proper substitute to me. It looks like a medieval sim to the core, which M&B is not.

KCD just looks like it requires so much more dedication than you get for fun in return, so IDK, I don't really want to walk around in neat environments and talk to NPCs all day, then engage in wonky looking target-locked combat every few moments. Maybe when some reviews are out in 6-12 months or if my friends tell me to get it

I will also play that one but no it ain't bannerlord substitute, 1st it is only first person mod and second you ain't commanding huge army that you train yourself since they were some welps

i think kingdom come deilverance is episodic. it does look like a well made game and i have been following it for a couple years, however i don't think i will be purchasing it if it turns out to be episodic.

Looks like it will progress much like the witcher/assasin creed titles.

Therefore not for me. I hate games that label themselves as open world, when the true meaning is captured by M&B.

The game's combat doesn't look enticing.

Ok guys thats not what I mean its not like Bannerlord but my point was if TaleWorlds are going to keep us waiting then we will just take our bussiness elsewhere...

They both look like great games to me. Neither suffer from the "cinematic" cancer and excessive hand-holding of modern gaming. The Witcher 3 is a good example of what I'm talking about here.

Both games look nice, but they are so different from each other. One cant fill other one's position. M&B is more like storyless open world rpg strategy game, meanwhile KC:D has a story and it focuses more on one-one fight other than controlling big armies.

Nobody gonna get used to that weird glitching melee system.

Honestly, i'm more hyped for Kingdom Come than bannerlord at this point. With the lack of news and such for almost a damn 2 year stretch I forgot about Bannerlord. Kingdom Come though, nah, and the reason for that is "If someone asks you do help do something and you choose not to, the event will still happen with or without you." Which I thought was pretty cool to say the least.

I'm not fan of the approach of KC:D. I prefer fun to realism, and KC:D is all the way toward realism. In other hand, I'm the kind of people who loves The Sunset Invasion thing is CK2.

And in KC:D you can't play as a woman. No all female army like the one that I love to make in M&B Warband. :sarah5:
