Thanks
Oh, and my PC can more than handle it, so that's not it.
Thanks again.

The biggest drain on performance is the lighting... all lights/shadows are rendered in real time. This is what allows dramatic (and detailed) player shadows even at a distance and lends to the overall aesthetic. Short of dropping these features for a more traditional look, there are a couple things we can do:
1. Upgrade the game to the Unity 4 engine.
2. Break up the larger terrains so the game isn't rendering out-of-site polygons.
Both of these are in process as I speak, though will be a while before they're ready for prime time. The good news is that these updates combined will make for big performance improvements, but without reducing any visual effects in any way.

While you're at it, look at adding support for triple screen users :) If you look at my thread on surround, the game has quite a few problems with scaling and HUD issues - hopefully all these can be resolved easily :)
Hoorah!!
BTW, it will be nice to have an ability to skip cutscenes at least when you have seen them already.
