How to disable mouse4/5 from scrolling chat, so that I can voice communicate?
How can I disable mouse4/5 from scrolling chat, so that I can voice communicate? I do not see anything related to the mouse in the key bindings page.

There doesn't seem to be a way to unbind that currently, maybe next version will have it. But I noticed that it only scrolls from me when my mouse is over the chat window.

Yesir. My chat windows covers a good chunk of the playing field with fade at 0 so I can read chat without missing anything and where I click to travel and dispatch enemies that are to the southwest/south/southeast. Also when I'm checking linked items and need to talk to my friends it starts scrolling. So it's a similar problem of using mouse 4 while hovering over a browser and it goes back a page but were able to disable that. Thank you for reading my question/suggestion.

I'll see if I can cook someting up, but if your voice software is capturing those events why do they stil lget to tome ? it should stop them :/

The voice capture software whether it be Teamspeak, Mumble, Vent, Raidcall, it recognizes whenever the button is pressed and transmits your mic. My problem is the game code telling the chat to scroll backwards with mouse4 and forwards with mouse 5, similar to the programing of the mouse without any drivers on windows causing the back and forth on webpages pressing mouse4/5. Those voice communication programs make sure your mic transmits when the chosen button is pressed at all times in any game.

If I don't have the voice software running the chat still scrolls backwards and forwards with mouse 4/5.

I don't believe the voice software relates to the issue at all. I have no issues transmitting my mic. Just that since I'm playing the game and having conversations with people at the same time I frequently find myself needing to broadcast when my mouse cursor is over the 2 chat fields. And at the moment I have to move my mouse off those locations to talk, or sometimes I am deep in a dungeon and I broadcast when it's on the chat fields, and it scrolls it backwards, then I have to correct it forward back down to the latest events. So it is a little bit troublesome. Thank you for your replies so far in helping me with this issue.
