After loading my save i didn't realize the game doesn't auto save every floor so i lost 5 floors worth of time and i may end up getting entirely different drops... oh well..

For future, there IS an option in your options menu to make it auto-save each floor, just unfortunately isn't enabled by default. Also, do not be afraid to talk in the in-game chat about this type of thing. If you ever do get trapped in a level due to glitches or bugs, moderators and devs in chat can warp you out.

Are you using any unofficial addons? How much memory do you have?

Some stuff copied from a dxdiag i ran just now.
