reserve skill pls Help

In the tree skills i took reserve lv 1 but if i go to by a new type of unit to put it in reserve the shop dont allow me to buy-. i even tryed to half the number of soldiers that i can carry but it still dont allow me to buy the 6 unit to put in reserve so i dont understand how reserve work

Haven't played the game in a while but I think you click on one of your current units and then click on the reserve spot (it will be above your current unit bar). Then that will free a spot and you can recruit another unit type. You can only ever have 5 current units and from memory up to 2 reserves.

Glad I found this discussion... Just from reading the text in the game I had no idea what that skill was even about. I'll make use of it now..!
