NO!, dont get the collection unless you want sprites (basically little soldiers on the maps instead of counter) if you dont want these only get the main dlc.

Yeah sprites aren't really used IMO >.> the counters tell you far more, but yes HOI3 TFH is fantastic, throw on Black ICE or HPP mod and you will be in heaven o7

Axis factions are pretty good to start.

Yeah germany I'd say is the best to start with, you get a taste of pretty much all aspects of the game.

don't mess up russia, and don't try to invade England historically time wise. but other wise Germany is pretty freaking easy, You just have to know your history and not do what Germany did in real life, like when it asks you for winter clothes for your troops? yeah do that, because russia doesn't fall in 6 months.

I capured England in the beggining of 41, Soviets attacked immidiatly. And I think I can conquer them in a year

If you ever play as Germany, and Nationalist Spain wins the Spanish Civil War, try to get them to join the Axis. The Allies will try to attack Nationalist Spain (as it's army is somewhere between meh and junk) and give you some breathing room to build up for an invasion of England or whatever else you need to do.

Yea, I would go with HOI3. However, HOI2 was fun as hell in the early days, and when that DLC came out? Damn. I would definitly recommend you play it sometimes. It shouldn't be much in the Store.

HOI3 with all the addons is the best experience you can get, IMO.
