Has anyone tried the steam deck yet?

Runs fine on my Rog Ally. High settings, 900p, RSR. I'm able to use the 30/60 (30 in between plays, 60 during gameplay) frame rate cap fine.

You should be able to run it on the Deck at 720p no problem with medium settings.

Occasional stutters which I believe is shader compilation. Would be nice if they gave the option to compile at startup. Otherwise it's great on handheld.

fat no. with ea anti cheat prob included it will not work. this is the sad thing deck people have to deal with. i actually don't know if it has ea anti cheat but it probalbly does. i make a update post as i am downloading the ea play trial on the ea app rn. got ea play threw game pass

it wont work it has anti cheat i think, so on steam deck nope nope- now saying that if someone gives it a shot, dont do it through ea play or ea app, just try it normally through the steam page

I would say it runs ok at 720p on the Ally. Anything else is unplayable.

I would say it runs ok at 720p on the Ally. Anything else is unplayable.

Yup 720p not 900p upscaled to 1080p using RSR. Looks and running great for me.

It won't run on wine/proton or the steam deck https://i.imgur.com/VoWJYP7.png and is actively being blocked by EA's new kernel level (malware/rootkit) EA anti-cheat, which only runs on Windows 10/11 and requires both TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to be enabled.
