I've got no idea what they do or how to use them. Can't find any instructions, so I gotta ask here.

you use the recording bot to to hold it and you can jump on him holding it or put items on it

And for advanced usage, you can stash stuff on it, then stash yourself on the item being held. Also, there's nothing preventing the recorded version moving after stuff is stashed on the platform.

It's rather glitchy (eg jump on and slip off without moving - MAJOR PITA), but I'm using a mac with intel gpu.
